云寒雨冷
Cold cloud, freezing rain,
寂寥夜半景色凄清
Lonely Midnight, scene is bleak.
荒山悄静
Barren hill, without a sound
依稀隐约传来了夜半钟
Vaguely, vaguely comes the chanting in temple
钟声惊破梦更难成
The toll breaks a dream, harder to seek back
是谁令我愁难罄
Who makes me sorrowful,
唉 悲莫罄
Ah sorrow and sadness never used up.
情缘泡影
Fate of love is bubble and shadow.
鸳鸯梦
Dream of mandarin duck,
三生约
Promise of three lives,
何堪追认
I am afraid that they can never be fulfilled.
旧爱一朝断

Retreat to ravine separated hill,
菩提 伴我苦敲经
Bodhi accompanies me bitterly rapping scripture.
凡尘 那堪复听
Secular world, how to bear hearing it again.
情似烟轻
Love as light as smoke.
我禅心修佛性
Meditating heart is cultivating buddha nature.
梦幻已今朝醒
Today reverie has already being waken.
情根爱根 恨根怨根
Love root, love root, sorrow root, sorrow root.
春花怕赋咏
Spring flower, nervous of singing a poem.
情丝怨丝 愁丝爱丝
Love thread, love thread, sorrow thread, sorrow thread.
秋月怕留情
Autumn moon, nervous of leaving her affection here.
情心早化灰
Heart of love already becomes dust.
禅心经洁净
Heart of meditation thus becomes clean and clear.
为爱为情恨似病
